Magnum Builders was selected by the Embassy House Condominium Association to provide preconstruction services for a lobby renovation project at their 85 unit, 10 story location on the Sarasota Bay Front. Schematic designs were provided to Magnum in order to prepare an “Option of Cost”. This estimate allowed the Condominium Association to proceed to an approval of funding for the proposed project.
Magnum was contracted to deliver the project under a Construction Management at Risk with a guaranteed maximum price agreement. Magnum proceeded to work with the Architectural and Engineering firms during the design process to prepare updated budgets and provide constructability recommendations to the design professionals. All of this work allowed the project to reach a guaranteed maximum price that was within the approved association funding amount.
